As an election year for President Macron and his majority, 2022 proved itself a challenge. did win run-off against Le Pen, once again, but the key result of legislative elections was formation minority government. LREM (La République En Marche!), relabeled since as Revival, not secure majority in National Assembly unable to form stable coalition with any significant partner context continuing polarization party system. The brought unexpected developments on left, new called Nupes (New Popular Green Social Union, Nouvelle Union Populaire Ecologique et Sociale) bringing together all major left-wing parties under leadership Mélenchon LFI France Insoumise). Meanwhile, two formerly dominant 1980s, Socialist Party Republicans, have almost vanished from scene.
